| ¿How does the synchronization between music and firework firing work? |
|
The Software carries out every
show operation by itself. We first indicate the song that will be used,
and the software will show us the sound graphic spectrum of that song.
Then we arrange the firework devices in the shape and time in which we
wish to fire them. To do this, we select the firework device on the screen,
and we drag it with the mouse up to the desired place on the music graphic. |
| What music format can the PMFC use? |
| MP3, WAV u OGG. |
| Can I use a track from a standard audio CD-ROM? |
| Yes,
it is possible to digitalize CD-ROM tracks in WAV format so as to use
them in shows. |
| How can I quickly verify the final look of the show? |
|
By simply pressing a button you can
visualize a simulation that enables you to watch the synchronization of
the pyrotechnic effects with the music, and then make corrections and
adjustments if necessary. |
| Can I use the PMFC Software on Windows 95 or 98? |
| Yes,
only for development and demonstration purposes; however, for the execution
of the show, the OS should fulfill the minimum requirements detailed in
the section related to the technical characteristics of the product. |
| Once the show is created in a given computer, how can I execute the show from another computer? |
|
The complete creation is stored in
an exclusive file for the execution of the show (.pmfw), which has all the
required information. Just copy the file (for example, “cl411.pmfw”) to the
equipment that will carry out the task, open it with a PMFC Software and
request its reproduction. |
| How can I make a real simulation with just the photograph of the show location? |
|
PMFC
Simulator is our software that will enable you not only to virtually
design the show with the picture show site, but also place that picture
in a 3D scenario so as to see, create and visualize the show from
different perspectives. Such software has a 3D firework editor that will
also enable you to design you own pyrotechnic effects. |
| How many Interfaces can I connect to a computer? |
| 10 (ten) PMFC-144USB. |
| How many output channels does a PMFC-144USB Interface administer? |
| 144 (one hundred and forty four) |
| How are the 144 outputs distributed? |
| They
are distributed along a 100m-long cable from the PMFC-144USB, in 6 (six)
connection boards of 24 (twenty four) outputs each. |
| How many Initiators can I place per channel, and how far from each other? |
|
Up to 10
fire initiators or more, depending on the wire used to connect all it. |
| What cable should I use to connect the initiators to the connection boards? |
| A monofilar cable, solid copper core (like phone cords), 0.33mm². |
| How should I feed the PMFC-144USB interfac? |
| It must be connected to 220/110Volts or to a local generator. |
| Do I need to feed the connection boards with any feeding source (batteries)? |
|
No,
a special feature of the system is that it minimizes wiring in the fire
zone: the connection board and the connection cables are only exposed
to one another. No additional feeding or control wiring is installed because
the main interface has enough performance to support the 144 channels
without auxiliary feeding. We highlight that the connection boards don’t
have any kind of battery or active circuits inside, thus minimizing failure
probability. |
| What happens if the connection boards must be installed on a humid and cold ground? |
|
The
connection boards can work under extreme conditions (high and low temperature,
condensed humidity, etc) because they don’t feature internal circuits
or batteries. |
| In my computer I have just one free USB port and I have 3 (three) PMFC-144USB interfaces, how do I connect them?? |
|
As indicated
in the procedure handbook of the equipment, you will have to install a
HUB or USB Concentrator, preferably of good quality, and connect it to
both your computer and the interfaces. |
| Once the show has started, can I control some of the devices and fire them manually? |
|
Yes,
it is possible to control some channels manually with your PC mouse or
keyboard; this makes additional channels available for you to execute
whenever you wish. |
| What is the maximum synchronization error between music and real firing? |
|
The
control software features two high-precision Windows multimedia temporizer
levels. They are synchronized with a precision of 5ms in relation to the
sound track in execution. |
| How do I assign interface and channel number to a particular firework device? |
|
This
is done automatically (or manually) by the software; therefore, it is
not possible to erroneously assign (or overlap) interfaces and channels. |
| Which controllers or drivers do I need so that Windows XP detects the interfaces? |
|
None,
when the interface is connected to the computer or HUB concentrator, it
is immediately detected and communicates automatically with the operation
system that gets ready without the user’s intervention. |
